Quality Engineer - Contract

I’m looking for a proactive individual to work with my reputable client on an upcoming project on a daily rate contract basis. This role will initially be for 6 months but will like offer further extension.

Its an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality engineer who is looking for their next role and can support an existing team in providing exceptional quality processes.

Responsibilities:

• Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan for both automated and manual testing .
• Work with other technical teams in order to complete project specific testing in lien with agreed deadlines.
• Use debugging tools to identify and isolate potential bugs
• Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years quality engineering experience
• Fantastic communication skills and ability to work effectively in an agile environment
• Strong test automation experience of using cypress or similar
• Finance experience would be advantageous
• Proven ability of working with CI/CD pipelines and working closely with developers
